Yesterday it was revealed that Jio could soon announce price hikes for its value packs while one new Jio value pack may also be introduced. Well, the telecom company as expected made some changes to its value packs but earlier there were three value packs available, and now there are two value packs only that are listed on the Jio website and app.
New Jio Value Packs
Rs 458 prepaid value pack comes with 84 days validity and includes benefits like unlimited voice calling, 1000 SMS, and subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud. The second is a Rs 1958 prepaid value pack that arrives with 365 days validity and includes benefits like unlimited voice calling, 3600 SMS, and subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud.
These value packs do not include any internet benefits though the earlier value packs offered internet benefits.
Bharti Airtel, the telecom company that is considered the main competitor of Jio has also made available a few new value packs on its website among which some do offer internet facilities.
New Airtel Value Packs
Rs 489 prepaid value pack comes with 77 days validity and includes benefits- unlimited voice calling, 600 SMS, and 6GB data. The Rs 499 plan comes with 84 days validity and includes benefits- unlimited voice calling and 900 SMS. The Rs 548 plan also comes with 84 days validity and includes benefits- unlimited voice calling, 900 SMS & 7GB data.
There are two plans with 365 days validity as well- the Rs 1959 plan includes benefits like unlimited calling and 3600 SMS while the Rs 2249 plan includes unlimited calling, 3600 SMS, and 30GB data benefits.
