Reliance Jio’s AirFiber Services Spreads Out To 115 Indian Cities
Starting with services at 8 metro cities across multiple states on September 19, this year, Jio AirFiber services have now expanded to over 115 cities. The Jio AirFiber is available in 8 different states; Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.
The availability of Jio AirFiber depends on the availability of the 5G network and your area’s local geography. The availability of the service may vary by locality, even if your city is available with the service.
People can order a Jio AirFiber connection from the Jio website or by sending a WhatsApp message to 60008 6008. Once the booking is done, Jio will get in touch with you regarding the service as soon as possible.
Jio AirFiber charges Rs 1,000 as an installation charge, which will be waived off if the user is going for a 12-month plan. Users will get access to a 4K smart set-top box and a voice-enabled remote along with the Jio AirFiber. Jio AirFiber will help you to have high-speed Wi-Fi networks inside your home if your area is not suitable for having a wired optical fiber connection.
Jio AirFiber does not require the optical fiber connection and only uses 5G networks, which makes the rollout of JioFiber faster than Jio GigaFiber. So Jio is expected to add more cities to the available list.
Across all the available cities, the prices of Jio AirFiber are the same. JioAirFiber and AirFiber Max are the two plans offered by Jio. Both of these plans provide internet connectivity and include OTT subscriptions and 500+ live TV channels.
