Skype Insiders can presently download version 8.82 of the Skype Insider build. A variety of bug fixes, stability improvements, and support for Google Play Store in-app billing to purchase credit, subscriptions, and Skype numbers are all included in the latest version. Aside from that, in support of Ukraine, the corporation has made free phone calls to Ukraine available across all platforms. Skype users in Ukraine can now make free phone calls to persons in other countries via Skype.

Aside from the new capabilities, Microsoft has put a list of non-profit organisations on the Skype Home Page, allowing people all around the world to donate money to help the people of Ukraine.

On all platforms, Microsoft has also extended support for new languages in Translated Conversations. This feature will allow users to translate calls made in Ukrainian so that they may communicate more readily with others in the nation. New “Support Ukraine” emoticons were also introduced, including “Ukraine Heart,” “Ukraine Handshake,” and “Ukraine Pray.”

Throughout the current Russian invasion, Microsoft has been a strong supporter of Ukraine. The IT behemoth has been working quietly behind the scenes, fending against hackers and suspending all new sales of its products and services in Russia, among other things.
