Vi will Start Rolling Out its 5G Services in India Soon: Here’s More About it

Kumar Mangalam Birla’s Vi(Vodafone Idea) is planning to launch its 5G network services in India soon. Only three companies in India including Vi are allowed 5G spectrum and Vi has been lagging behind in introducing its 5G network services.

Vi to Introduce their 5G Network Services in India Soon

Indian-based telecom company Vi will soon start to roll out its 5G services in India. Currently, the only city where you can experience Vi’s 5G network services in Delhi. The company has also mentioned on its official website that they are working with its partners to bring its 5G network services to multiple Indian cities.

Jio and Airtel, the other two Telecom companies in India which are currently offering 5G network services have made their services available to many cities in most of the Indian states.

Jio has introduced its 5G services to the most number of cities and currently has its 5G network services available in 406 Indian cities. Airtel is also not far behind and has already introduced its 5G network services in more than 265 Indian cities. Jio uses a stand-alone network to deploy its 5G services and is going to be the world’s largest 5G stand-alone(SA) only network operator in the world by the mid-half of 2023. Airtel in comparison, uses a non-standalone infrastructure to make their 5G services available.

Kumar Mangalam Birla’s Vi will have to speed up in order to catch up with its other two rival companies to attain their pace. In order to use 5G services, Vi users won’t have to change their 4G sims and all they’ll need is a 5 G-compatible smartphone. Vi will soon make their 5G plans also available to its users with its 5G network services.
