Vodafone Idea (VI) customers are to be facilitated with a new data voucher plan. Costing Rs 181, the new data voucher plan is meant to provide daily data for a period of 30 days.
The Rs 181 data voucher pack would provide 1GB of daily data every day. The same would be renewed the next day.
A user can activate this data plan along with an existing active plan. The new voucher would be handy for users who exhaust their data at a fast rate.
With 5G rolling out by VI’s tough competitors like Jio and Airtel, the company saw the need to launch such a data voucher. With the coming of 5G, Telecom has also seen a gradual decline in its subscribers. The Rs 181 pack comes in as a means to deal with this urgency.
It is to be noted that, this data pack is solely dedicated to data and doesn’t cater to voice calls or sms services.
Telecom has lately put forward different plans and services to mark its presence in the market. Like most other Telecom services, VI also offered prepaid plans which offered data, calls, and sms at the same time. The Rs 289 and Rs 429 data vouchers were two attractive plans that they launched in the past. The Rs 289 plan offered 4GB of data with unlimited voice calling and 600 sms for a period of 48 days. On the other hand, the Rs 429 plan offered 6 GB of data, 1000 SMS, and unlimited calling for a period of 78 days. Both of these packs did not put a daily data usage limit.
With the constant back-and-forth competition in the telecom market, VI would need to keep upgrading according to the market demands. The Rs 181 pack should be a new usp for VI’s users.
